Ha Ta Ka Pa (feat. Alexander Hacke)

A 9 track experimental album (45m 36s) — released February 11th 2013 on Gusstaff Records

Gusstaff Records, the house of Hugo Race, Sacri Cuori, Rykarda Parasol and Tarwater proudly presents AEDI.
AEDI is an italian band formed in 2007. In 2008 they released a self-produced debut EP "The
Adventures Of Yellow", in 2009 - EP "Polish" on Elevator Records and in 2011 the first album "Aedi Met
Heidi" (Seahorse Recordings). Now the band is coming out of Italy and is releasing an album recorded and produced by Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten).

"The first thing I got to do this year was to produce the new album by this wonderfully mad bunch of very talented and sweet Italian musicians, who go by the name AEDI. It was pure pleasure to work with them and I urge you all to check out the result of our collaboration, which will be released across Europe early next year on Gusstaff Records." Alexander Hacke

The musicians are describing their sound as "satanic folk", it's a spiritual world, combining sweetness and punk attitude, technique and cacophony, ethereal melodies and blood rhythms, music and noise... A meeting of reminiscences that show the adrenaline soul of north european music and shortens the gap with the scene of Brooklyn NY.
AEDI is:
Celeste Carboni (voice, piano, clarinet, farfisa)
Paolo Tica (guitar, sinth, violin)
Jones Piu (bass)
Claudio Innamorati (guitar)
Daniele Gatto (drums)
